Bubble Shooter: how the classic works and how to score big
Bubble Shooter is a puzzle you can explain in one sentence and play for an hour. Rows of coloured bubbles hang from the top of the board; a cannon at the bottom holds one bubble, with the next one queued in the ring beside it. Fire a bubble into a cluster of its own colour and, if that makes three or more, the group bursts. Anything that was only attached to the board through the group you just popped loses its grip and falls — those loose bubbles are where the big points come from. Every shot that fails to make a match pushes the wall one step closer to the dashed line at the bottom, and once a bubble crosses it the round ends.
The version on bubble-shooter.pro is Evi Team's build, the one that spread through Poki, hosted here so it loads straight in the page. It has a level counter, a star score and a trophy for your best run, and two boosters: an Aim guide that draws the full path of a shot including the wall bounces, and a Bomb that clears every bubble touching the spot where it lands. Between levels you pick one upgrade — a longer aim line, a better chance of a bomb or a rainbow bubble, or a third bubble in the clip. It runs on a school Chromebook and on a phone, and a round takes about as long as a lesson break.

Scoring higher in Bubble Shooter
- Pop the hangers, not the front row: A group of three near the top that is holding up a dozen bubbles below it is worth far more than a group of six on the front line. Look for the thin necks that connect big clusters to the ceiling and cut them.
- Use the walls: A bubble bounces cleanly off the left and right edges, so a target hidden behind the front row is usually reachable with one bounce. Aim at the wall roughly level with the target, not above it, and the angle takes care of itself.
- Check the next bubble before you fire: The ring under the cannon shows what is coming. If the loaded colour has no match, park it somewhere it builds a pair, so the next bubble finishes the group instead of wasting a shot and dropping the wall.
- Save the Bomb for a neck: The Bomb clears the bubbles touching its landing spot. Dropped into the narrow link between the ceiling and a big cluster, it takes the whole cluster down with it.

Pro tip: The wall only drops when you miss a match, so a shot that makes a pair without popping still counts as a miss. When you are two shots from a drop, stop building and fire at any group that pops — even a small one — to reset the pressure before you go back to setting up the big fall.
